I've been working on a this blog idea where every entry is actually a short chapter to a story. I was hoping to get some feedback on it so far, and hear what you think.

This looks really good, but I do have a suggestion...

when you are unable to post on ur regularly scheduled time, definitely tell people what's going on for the delay, but once you resume, maybe delete that "we're having a delay because of ilness, emergency, being busy, etc".

These asides kinda take away from the story, and feels a little amateur, when the look of the blog otherwise feels so professional and top-notch.
