New Blogger Needs Advice

I am new to blogging. What advice can you give me to get started? I have a page set up in Blogger and am running several google ads. I think my topic may be too broad. I started out with the intention of writing about my daily life as a stay at home mom. Is that boring? Anyway, I only have about 7 or 8 posts so far. Just hoping somoen will give me some pointers.

if your subjects are too broad you'll end up somewhere on page 50 in the seach engines ( I mean for some interesting key phrases).
So I think is better to concentrate on a domain and promote your blog for that specific area.

So if you have more domains of interest i think is better to create more blogs
