How do I increase readership on my blog?

Hi everyone,

I'm quite new to the wonders of blogging and am starting to familiarize myself with it. As a graduate student at USC, I thought it would be a good idea to start a blog about marketing and advertising, but feel like I'm lacking traffic.

Can anybody give me advice on how I can increase readership and stir people to my blog?

For a start, i suggest keep adding new & interesting content to your blog everyday.. if not, once a few days. Something that can draw comments & attention .

Your blog is about marketing and advertising right? Please notice your URL 'eyesonmarket', first you should target your topic in your blog's name. What if 'marketing-expert' ,advices or news? So that you have broad information for your blog.

I think your URL is good and what you should do is to promote your blog in various forums like this, and build enough back links.
