Blogs are a great way for companies to advertise, inexpensively, on the internet. I know that I have made many purchases from reviews I've read on blogs, and my friends have too. Everytime I find a new product I like, I blog about it, and then usually buy it as a gift for a friend or family memeber, and then I rave about it to my coworkers, so it's really 3 or 4 types of publicity that they get from me!
I really enjoy it, and would encourage more companies to consider partnering with bloggers like myself
