The site is pretty alright. Neat and the substance is good as it includes quite alot of details. The tone of this site is formal and yet friendly, which is a good approach.

The ads are pretty annoying though. It kinda prevents the reader from reading your entry. I know its unavoidable, so you might want to try to make a contrast between the ads, like maybe a different colour. Makes it less irritating, lols.

You have quite a number of entries. Why not include a search feature for easier searching? Include some images to brighten up your website too!

The layout is relaxing to the eyes. Different colour tones and yet not too many.
The substance is good. The ads are "camouflaged" by the different colours, making them less visible and annoying. Good job for that. The headings are also bolded and of a larger font, making them clear and easier to differentiate from the entry.

However, you might want to include some images to spruce up the site. Like they say, a picture means a thousand words. Use them to further explain in your entries, it would help alot.

Background of the side profile "About me" could be slightly darkened to bring out futher contrast. Same for the ads section to make it less annoying as it is kinda sticking out like a sore thumb now.

I can see that this is the same but modified layout.

The images are good. The girl with the phone in the mouth looks like she is about to swallow the phone , but that makes it interesting to look at - and that is good, keeps your audience curious. The ads do not stick out as badly as the first one, perhaps it's the color of the font? Keep that up.

Side profile could also be slightly darkened, maybe make the colour the same as the current "links" colour and darken the colour of the links to further enhance it's contrast.

The bolding of certain words have emphasized the substance in your blog, that is good.
