I'm a new blogger to so I now how you feel hehe.
Here are a few tips I'v been told though,
There is a lack of pictures on your site it's all text,
and when you put links on your site it's better if they open in a new window so that the customer is not directed away from your site.

Presentation is very important,i saw you blog content its very good but if you can present is simple way (with the help of pictures) it can attract more users.
