Tips on having a high click rate on adsense

Can you site some techniques and steps on how to increase your ad click rate on your site?

I really believe that you only can increase your ad click rate with a lot of traffic, maybe with a plain layout and with few internal links, I have two web sites, and I am geting a lot of click in one because the template is very simple with few internal links, and the other web site is getting more page views but lest clicks, but anyway you will not make really money with adsense if you don't have a LOT of traffic to your web site...

I have read an article that backlinks would help increase your site traffic as well as adsense clicks. In this way, you are sharing links to other website publisher.

Look at Bloggerhub. They are good in placing Google ad in the optimal position.

The position of Adsense ads matters a lot. Put them upper left and wrap your article around them. Centre of screen is good too. You need traffic. You can get quality links from articles in high PR directories. The top few are: ezinearticles,goarticles,amazines,articlealley,ide amarketers,articledashboard,articlecity. Links to these should help push you up Google a bit which should bring in more traffic. It's a long job.
Don't bother with buying traffic. It's a waste of money.
